    WP Engine will be performing updates to WordPress 7.0 “Armstrong.” All sites that have not deferred updates via the user portal will be upgraded to version 7.0 beginning Monday, June 22nd, 2026. <br/><br/>This is a major update. Deferrals of this update will result in your site remaining on the most secure branch of your current major version (e.g. 6.9.4). <br/><br/>Not ready for the latest and greatest version of WordPress?
